The Last of Us Part ll: a bug causes Abby to kill Joel’s brother

The Last of Us Part II a bug causes Abby to kill Joel's brother

The game created by Naughty Dog for PS4 has Abby as its antagonist, who can be controlled by the player just like Ellie.

The Last of Us Part ll continues to be talked about among PS4 users, and not because it will receive another GOTY award. Abby is still one of the most hated characters in this video game and a new scene puts her in the eye of the storm.

Many fans criticized Naughty Dog for having Abby murder Joel, Ellie’s partner, in the opening scenes of The Last of Us Part ll. However, a year after her release on the PlayStation 4 console it was discovered that she can also assassinate Tommy.

Speclizer, a well-known YouTuber who is dedicated to finding errors in games, uploaded a video to his channel on the platform, where he explains that in the sniper scene there is a glitch that we can activate if we act very quickly.

In case you don’t remember, in this part of the story, Abby and many are chasing a stranger who is attacking them with a sniper rifle. Seconds later, when the individual closes a blind to escape, the pair manages to reach him bypassing another door. It is here that it is discovered that it is Joel’s brother.

And at this point, a bug is activated, as the player is running at full speed and can slide under the door and make Abby catch up with Tommy. This is where the antagonist unleashes her fury, as she not only beats him but ends her life.

If you have not tried it yet, we recommend that you think twice before doing it because it is possible that, this glitch could affect your game of The Last of Us Part ll.

I am a mechanical engineer in a day job and my passion for gaming led to this website. I enjoy games that have bit of a story depth and mostly single player. One of my favorites is Horizon Zero Dawn. I also dabble in multiplayer, but not battle royals, mostly because I am not good at it. Occasionally, I do enjoy trending survival games such as the latest Valheim and Muck. I have another website where I write more often VGNerdsAtWork.
