Pokemon Go Referral Rewards Not Tracking or Working – Temporary Solution

Pokémon Go Johto Tour Ticket - What is Included

Niantic has introduced a new referral program which is exclusively a new way for experienced players to encourage other players to try this game or to retrieve former players back into the Pokemon field.

After a successful trial in Australia, now this referral program is introduced across the world. The referral program in Pokemon Go can be accessed by offering to return new players your personal “Referral Code” and referring them successfully will allow both of you to earn several Referral Program rewards.

But some players are reporting that their referral rewards are not working at all.

According to multiple reports, players receive the notification that their friends have signed up with the signing up game but they did not receive their rewards.

Many players have already tried some generic workarounds such as restarting the game but that did not work.

Thankfully, the Niantic team has acknowledged this issue on their official Twitter page.

As you can see, they have confirmed the matter so hopefully, we will have a permanent solution as early as possible. In the meantime, you can try the following simple workaround to fix this issue where Pokemon Go referral rewards are not tracking or working.

However, there is a temporary solution you can try to fix this issue. You need to add a new person as a friend and then use the invitation code. Thus, you will get referral rewards.

Hopefully, developers will soon find out the root cause of the issue where the referral rewards not working issue. Meanwhile, you can try the above-mentioned solution to fix the problem.
