Call of Duty: Warzone is a massively popular free-to-play battle royale game but it is packed with several issues and bugs across all gaming platforms such as the DIVER error code, and account verification required error among others. Many players also receive Packet Loss errors frequently which is one of the critical issues. The Packet Loss error has been giving many players serious connection issues. But the good news is that it can be solved easily by performing certain steps.  If you are also running into the same error, here is how you can fix it.

Fixing Call of Duty: Warzone Packet Loss Error

There might be multiple reasons for this error to occur and so there are various methods to fix this issue. Here we have covered all potential solutions to fix the Call of Duty: Warzone Packet Loss error.

1. Try to use a wired connection: Wired connection is more stable than the Wi-Fi so try to connect the game through a wired connection and check if the issue is resolved or not.

2. Try to use a VPN service: Sometimes, a Packet Loss error occurs due to network congestion. In case your local server is busy, then a VPN service may help. This way, you will be able to connect to a different server from a different region that may have less traffic.

3. Set NAT type to Open or Type 1: Activision suggests using Open or Type 1 NAT which offers the best connection. So, if your NAT is set to Moderate/Type 2 or Type 3/Strict, then tweak it to Open or Type 1. Here is how you can do it.

– Open up your browser and type in your router IP address

– Login in to your router

– Find out your router’s Port Forwarding section

– Enter your IP address of your PC or console in the box in your router

– Enter in the correct TCP and UDP ports for the game in the corresponding boxes like the following:

  • PC: TCP: 3074,27014-27050
  • UDP: 3074,3478,4379-4380,27000-27031,27036
  • PlayStation 4: TCP: 1935,3478-3480
  • UDP: 3074,3478-3479
  • Xbox One: TCP: 3074
  • UDP: 88,500,3074-3075,3544,4500
  • PlayStation 5: TCP: 1935,3478-3480
  • UDP: 3074,3478-3479
  • Xbox Series X|S: TCP: 3074
  • UDP: 88,500,3074-3075,3544,4500

4. Complete the pending updates: Also, make sure you don’t have any pending updates that include game updates, drivers, updates, or software updates. 

5. Check your internet connection: Next, make sure your internet connection is working fine and stable.

Try all of these solutions one by one and any of them will surely fix the Packet Loss issue in CoD Warzone.
