Genshin Impact to host Inazuma region and long-awaited feature this month

Developer miHoYo promised that much exciting news was on the way to Genshin Impact. The company kept its word because today it revealed everything it prepares for version 2.0 of its title that will debut this month on consoles, PCs, and mobiles.

The major update will arrive with a new region that will motivate many players to return to the title. It is the Inazuma, the third zone in the world of Genshin Impact. In addition, a long-awaited feature and improvements will finally be enabled to take advantage of the PlayStation 5 DualSense even more.

Inazuma – A new region to explore in Genshin Impact

The most attractive novelty of version 2.0, which will debut on July 21, is undoubtedly Inazuma. It is a region ruled by the shogun Raiden, the Electro Archon of the Seven. According to the details, this is a place where eternity is pursued.

Inazuma is made up of a total of 6 areas and various islands full of beautiful landscapes and important locations, such as the Narukami Shrine, the Sacred Cherry Tree of Narukami Island, and the Tenshukaku Castle, to name a few.

As expected, there will also be additional characters. On your journey through Inazuma, you will meet Ayaka, Yoimiya, and Sayu, who will play an important role in the update’s missions.

Genshin Impact will receive Cross-Save and Upgrades for Dualsense:

Genshin Impact version 2.0 will include a long-awaited feature: cross-save. Thanks to this, players will be able to share their progress on PS5, PS4, PC, and mobile, allowing them to play anywhere to continue their game right where they left off.

On the other hand, PS5 users will be able to enjoy some additional improvements, such as optimizations for the DualSense, which will now offer a greater number of reactions and sensations when running, using certain weapons, and more.

I am a mechanical engineer in a day job and my passion for gaming led to this website. I enjoy games that have bit of a story depth and mostly single player. One of my favorites is Horizon Zero Dawn. I also dabble in multiplayer, but not battle royals, mostly because I am not good at it. Occasionally, I do enjoy trending survival games such as the latest Valheim and Muck. I have another website where I write more often VGNerdsAtWork.
