Fortnite is released in July 2017 by Epic Games but still, it is the great battle royale game to beat. This game is offering a lot of things such as approachable gameplay modes, zany and bright graphics, an incredible construction system, and a giant player base.
Fortnite is one of the massive titles that has crossed over 300 million registered players around the world. By 2020, this game has generated over $1 billion. One of the best parts of this game is that the developers never miss updating the game frequently with new content every time.
But some issues like Quadcrasher unable to control while flying or crew legacy set items are not unlocking ruin the overall fun of the game.
That’s not enough and now many players are reporting, that the game is showing their Epic account name instead of their PC or console name. And players are running into this issue after the recent Chapter 3 Season 2 update.
To fix it, players have already tried several generic methods that include reinstalling the game and relinking their Epic Games but nothing helps. And many frustrated players are wondering what they can do to fix it.
Unfortunately, Epic Games are yet to comment officially on this ongoing issue where players see their Epic account name instead of their in-game name.
But since many players are reporting on this issue, they will surely fix it as early as possible.
