Destiny 2 Long Load Times and Stuttering – Developer Acknowledges

Destiny 2 is one of the perfect free-to-play first-person shooter games released back in 2017 for PS4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows. In addition, Destiny 2 features extensive settings menus that let you gear the game to your rig. Although it has excellent gunplay and the game looks great, it has several issues and bugs. Nowadays, players seem frustrated as the game’s menu and UI take longer loading time than expected and some players have also experienced stuttering and FPS-related issues.

It seems several issues have been started triggering after the new update that features a new dungeon named Grasp of Avarice, the Exotic Rocket Launcher Gjallarhorn weapon, several other new sets and items, and much more.

According to reports, players have to wait minutes just to inspect their weapons. And that’s not enough, many other players say the menu is lagging consistently, crashing, and menus are not loading.

Fortunately, the developer of this game, Bungie Inc is already aware of this problem and so, we hope they will release the patch/update in the coming weeks.

The game was going smooth and players were enjoying it a lot but after the launch of the 30th Anniversary Pack, players around the world have started complaining about several issues. But as you have seen above, the developer team has already acknowledged the issue and so hopefully we will have its solutions very soon once they are back from the holidays.

I am a mechanical engineer in a day job and my passion for gaming led to this website. I enjoy games that have bit of a story depth and mostly single player. One of my favorites is Horizon Zero Dawn. I also dabble in multiplayer, but not battle royals, mostly because I am not good at it. Occasionally, I do enjoy trending survival games such as the latest Valheim and Muck. I have another website where I write more often VGNerdsAtWork.
