Dead by Daylight is a great game. It’s one of the few games that has survived and maintained its user base after the launch of multiple big Battle Royale title in 2020. The recent launch of Resident Evil Chapter saw the recurrent player count reach the height the game did not for quite some time. But, large number of players also means server issues. Users are complaining of seeing the Dead by Daylight Sync Error Code 111. If you have encountered this error, you will know everything about the error in this guide.
Dead by Daylight Error Code 111
The complete error message reads, “An error occurred while synchronizing currency data with the server. Error Code: 111.” The most likely cause of the error is a problem with severs. Lately, a lot of players are attempting to play the game, more than usual, it must be causing a range of issues, predominantly connectivity problems with the server.
If it’s a problem with the servers, there isn’t anything you can do about it. You can hope that the developers expand the server capacity to serve the new or returning players, or eventually the demand for the game goes back to normal, which would have the server function normally and the error would go.
Some users have shared that resetting the game fixes the problem. Don’t worry your progress is locked to your account, so resetting should not delete the progress you have made in the game.
At the time of writing, there has not been any acknowledgement from the developers about the error. We will update the post when we know more.
