CoD Warzone: Muffled Audio Issue in Champions of Caldera Game Mode – Temporary Fix

Call Of Duty Warzone

Call of Duty Warzone is a popular free-to-play battle royale game released in March 2020 but it is packed with a lot of bugs and glitches across all gaming platforms such as unnecessary CR-56 AMAX rifle nerf and solo contracts and loots missing after the season 3 update.

In addition to these issues, many players are now complaining about an issue where they experience muffled or no audio, particularly in the Champions of Caldera game mode.

According to multiple reports, the issue occurs in a gunfight and/or when players take damage and heal. However, it is important to note here that the issue doesn’t happen in other game modes.

Players have already tried generic workarounds like restarting the game and their system and also tried reinstalling it but nothing works.

Unfortunately, developers have not yet commented on the current issue where many players are experiencing a muffled audio issue in Cod Warzone Champions of Caldera.

Thankfully, there is a workaround you can try to fix this issue. Players need to damage their base health by throwing an explosive.

It seems quite a weird solution but many players have fixed the muffled audio issue in Champions of Caldera in CoD Warzone using this workaround.

Hopefully, we will have its hotfix soon by the developers.

I am a mechanical engineer in a day job and my passion for gaming led to this website. I enjoy games that have bit of a story depth and mostly single player. One of my favorites is Horizon Zero Dawn. I also dabble in multiplayer, but not battle royals, mostly because I am not good at it. Occasionally, I do enjoy trending survival games such as the latest Valheim and Muck. I have another website where I write more often VGNerdsAtWork.
