1. Reconnect the controller
One of the first workarounds you can try is to reconnect the controller. Disconnect your controller and then reconnect it after a minute. Once done, launch the game again and check if the problem is resolved. However, it is important to note that this method won’t work for adaptive triggers.
2. Run in Windowed Fullscreen Mode
Sometimes, if you run the game in Windowed Fullscreen mode, most probably the issue will be resolved.

– Then click on Settings and select the “Graphics Settings” from the new screen
– Now select the Video Mode and select Windowed (Fullscreen) beside the Display Mode.
– Once it is done, launch the game and check its performance.
3. Configure your Controller
This solution is only for Steam users using PS controllers. In this solution, you need to check properly and configure your controller.
– Open up Steam and go to “Settings” from the top left corner of the screen.
– Click on the “Controller” option from the left side and select the “General Controller Settings”.
– Then select your controller from the new screen. Once it is done, run the game and check that the issue should be resolved.
4. Verify Integrity of Game Files

1. Open up Steam and select your game and then right-click on it and select Properties.
2. Next, click on the Local Files from the left side and select the “Verify integrity of game files” option.
