F1 22 FPS Drop and Input Delay Issue Due to Broken Pedals Support – EA Acknowledged & Temporary Solution

F1 22

F1 22 is out now and fans can now enter into the new era of Formula 1 developed by Codemasters and published by EA Sports. However, like other massive online gaming titles, this game also has several issues such as crashing, freezing, no in-game sound, black screen, and others. In addition to these issues, many players are now complaining about the support of the broken pedal.

According to multiple reports, when players use pedals in F1 22, they experience FPS drops and lagging issues in the races. This is a very annoying issue, especially in a game like F1 22 where you need to react quickly.

Some other players are also saying the game is not able to manage two different input devices at the same time and so they are having FPS drops and lagging issues while playing the game. Due to such issues, the game becomes totally unplayable with pedals.

In addition to these issues, there are some other players whose pedals are not working whatsoever in F122 and so, they can’t use them. It is important to note, that this issue occurs only in F1 22 as many players are saying, it works fine in F1 21.

Thankfully, EA Sports has recently acknowledged various pedal support-related issues in F1 22.

As you can see, devs are investigating the matter and hopefully, we will have a permanent solution soon. However, there is a potential workaround you can try to mitigate FPS drop-related issues.

Many players have tried to turn off the “Ambient Occlusion” option from the F1 22 settings.
