Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Failed to Host Lobby Error – Issue Acknowledged

A COD Tracker for All Bugs, Issues, Problems of Warzone, Black Ops Cold War and Modern Warfare

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is undoubtedly a solid entry in the best seller franchise that looks stunning on next-gen consoles and Windows devices. However, the game frequently brings new issues and bugs such as players not getting prestige keys or weapons not unlocking.

Recently, many players are receiving a “Failed to host lobby” error message and when players receive this error message, they can’t find matches. This error message pops up at any point in time while playing matches. In some cases, this issue throws players out of matches which is a quite frustrating and time-consuming issue.

So far, the only temporary solution to fix this issue is to simply restart the game but it is not a hotfix, the same error message can be reappeared sometimes and so you will need to reboot the game every time it occurs.

Thankfully, the Treyarch team has acknowledged this issue on their official Twitter page.

As you can see, they said, their team is already working on the issue. However, the ETA is not yet revealed but hopefully, the issue will get resolved as early as possible.
