Battlefield 2042

Battlefield 2042, one of the widely played first-person shooter games by DICE is available on a myriad of gaming platforms such as PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. But this game has already certain issues and bugs including the 2002g error code.

According to various reports, PS5 users are complaining that HDR is not working or removed from the menu in Battlefield 2042. They are not able to activate the HDR option as the toggle disappears from the settings menu. It seems its new 4.0 update has brought this issue.

Mostly, the reports come from PlayStation 5 users but some other PS4 users are also complaining about the same situation on their gaming platforms.

The EA team has already acknowledged this issue and said – “this has been sent on to the team for investigations”.

Meanwhile, one of the users on Reddit has shared a potential solution which you can try to fix the HDR not working issue in Battlefield 2042.

A Potential Workaround: Restore to default mode on display settings and it should be auto after that.

Just try this tactic and check if the issue is resolved. If that doesn’t work, then you can’t do anything except wait for the future update. Also check – How to fix Battlegrounds Mobile India BGMI server authentication and login error.
